Insurance runs $105 a month, reflecting the higher cost of insuring a larger vehicle, and fuel comes to $221. Maintenance adds $60 a month, and title and registration add $45. The Chrysler Pacifica Select followed at $1,173 a month, and the Chrysler Voyager LX placed third at $1,200. All three minivans remain well-equipped family vehicles, which makes the Carnival LXS's edge notable: a family does not have to give up cargo space or seating capacity to find real monthly savings in this category.
